Jan Thiel Salt Ponds, Sunset, 9 x 12 Oil by Deborah McAllister
A highlight of Plein Air Curacao was the moon light hike to Jan Thiel Salt Ponds for sunset and moonlight painting sessions. I taught a class in oils and painted this painting as a demonstration. It was the first of the many times my easel was knocked over by the wind. The painting needed a little repair later, to get rid of some dirt from when it hit the ground.
